COVID-19 has impacted public health agencies on an individual, systems, organizational, and societal levels. This disruption of routine planning and agency-wide efforts is especially challenging for engaging multi-sector stakeholders in existing plans. However, this also presents new opportunities as we emerge from this new normal and agencies and their partners rethink and re-plan how they engage with each other and their community.

In this video we hear from two jurisdictions on how they are engaging tribal leaders and diverse communities to aid their COVID-19 response—and how they are supporting continuation and/or re-invigoration of performance and systems improvement work.
