ASTHO's Alumni Society 2019
The Alumni Society is a community that brings together former S/THOs and provides opportunities for involvement with ASTHO on national, state, and territorial public health issues. The Society is open to all former ASTHO members.
All alumni are invited to attend an annual in-person convening and participate in regular calls. The calls serve as a forum for alumni to discuss emerging public health issues, examine policies, and share updates on their new professional roles.

Alumni Society Officers
We are committed to engaging our alumni. A non-voting membership category has been established so that former state/territorial health officials (S/THOs) can continue sharing their expertise on key public health issues.
The Alumni Society is led by five elected officers:
- Chair
- Vice Chair
- Past Chair
- Member-at-Large (x2)
Join the ASTHO Alumni Society
Alumni Society lifetime membership is secured with a one-time dues payment of $500. Alumni will be contacted by ASTHO regarding dues payment approximately one year after transitioning to the alumni role. Payments can be made online. Payment of dues is required to attain voting member status, which also qualifies alumni to serve as society officers.
Online payment: Please visit account.astho.org to process your Alumni Dues. You will need to log in using your username, which is your primary email, and a password. If you do not know your password, please use the forgot password link or email the database manager at database@astho.org for assistance.
