The second webinar in a three-part series, Updating Public Health Laws for Public Health Accreditation, provides attendees with strategies and tools to review and update public health laws to meet PHAB requirements. An accredited health department, New Mexico, shares their accreditation journey and tips to successfully meet the requirements for PHAB Standard 6.1 – “Review Existing Laws and Work with Governing Entities and Elected/Appointed Officials to Update as Needed”. Washington State Board of Health also shares information on their use of Health Impact Review for updating and reviewing laws.
