The Senior Deputies Annual Meeting provides an opportunity to strengthen relationships between state, territorial and federal partners and share programmatic priorities and best practices in public health. Senior Deputies from state and territorial health agencies and CDC will come together to discuss the public health challenges impacting states and territories, emerging trends be aware of, and will highlight strategies and tools advance the public's health and well-being.

The Chief Financial Officers Peer Network in-person meeting provides a place for CFOs to network with their peers and non-traditional partners to build upon their skills in public health economics and financial management. Public health budgets have remained stable or even declined in recent years, even as the complexities of public health have worsened and new challenges have emerged. Hence, CFOs are called upon to think and act creatively, and use innovative financing techniques and practices. This meeting provides a place for discussion and incubation of ideas. Connecting the CFO in-person meeting with the Senior Deputies Annual Meeting continues the partnership to provide a common framework for defining how public health is best funded.
