Join ASTHO and state health leaders in learning more about a tool known as a Health Opportunity Index (HOI). Health departments in Ohio and Virginia have used this index to understand how communities are affected by the social determinants of health. HOIs are composite measures of these factors that show areas and populations that are most vulnerable to adverse health outcomes.

This webinar will allow states to learn from the experiences of others who have been using the tool, focusing on specific ways HOI data can be used and sharing tips for those interested in replicating the steps taken.
