Annual Directors of Public Health Preparedness Meeting

Each year, ASTHO hosts the Directors of Public Health Preparedness Meeting. This meeting brings together representatives from the states, directly funded cities, and territories, as well as federal partners from the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Preparedness and Response (ASPR), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Partner organizations such as the Association of Public Health Laboratories (APHL), the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO), the Association of Schools of Public Health (ASPH), and the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) also attend. This tradition of networking, information sharing, and collaboration has been the hallmark of past DPHP meetings.
